18th Birthday Card

We are off to an 18th Birthday Party later for the daughter of a girl I work with.
I am seriously getting to old for all this, I would much rather stay at home and watch the telly!!

I wanted to make a card and the only thing I know for sure about Louise is she doesn't like pink.
I have kept it simple as I am guessing most 18 year olds that don't do pink don't do fussy either.

Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Passion For Promarkers Cool Aqua & Cocoa

Hi all hope you are all managing to stay safe in the bad weather... I have taken to walking to work it seems like the safest option at the moment and it won't do me any harm!!

This week at PFP we have a fabulous colour combination for you to play with "cool aqua and cocoa".
I have used an old whiff of joy stamp which seemed rather appropriate (I imagine she is drinking a nice hot cup of cocoa).
The papers are BG marrakech I so love the rich colours in these papers.
I have used the sketch over at Friday Sketchers...I find it much easier if I have a sketch to work from, I am not very imaginative on the sketch front.

Flowers from stash, ribbon and the brad are SU the brad has been coloured with a promarker (not showing up too well in the photo)

Hope you all have a good week and that the weather isn't too bad where you are.
Thanks for looking.

I have just noticed this fits in with the Simon Says challenge for "Hot chocolate" so I am going to enter it for this too Sue :o)

1st Passion For Promarkers Challenge of 2010

Hi everyone hope you have all enjoyed your Christmas and New Year?
This is the first challenge of the year at PFP and Michele has provided us with a fabulous sketch and the theme of Love.

What a fabulous why to start the New Year...this is the first card I have made since long before Christmas.
I made a decision to downsize my craft room from the larger second bedroom into the small box room (I am getting far to old to sleep on a futon when we have guests!!!).
This has meant a huge clear out and I was doubtful if I was going to get it done in time for the first challenge.

But I did (after burning the midnight oil) and here is my first card for 2010.
Good luck to everyone who took part in the Mega December PFP challenge.

Thanks for looking Sue :o)
