I am now a very proud Nana Sue....Baby Ellie arrived safe and well on the 27th Aug.
She is beautiful but of course I am biased!!
I started this tin on the Saturday she was born...Ellie was due on the 3rd Sept so that was going to give me a week to complete the project, but the princess decided to put in an early appearance.I ended up finishing and giving this DVD tin card to Becci and Neil on her due date.
And here is a picture of the perfect princess who makes my heart sing everytime I see her.

Two Challenges PFP and Sugar Bowl Sketch
This is my first challenge for nearly a year using a coloured image!!
I wanted to have a go at colouring again on Friday night, I haven't picked up my pro markers in such a very long time.....and my confidence is very low!!! I made this cute little Sugar Nellie pirate into a card for my friends little boy (he is only 4 so not too much of a critic lol) and he loves pirates.
PFP challenge this week is pirates and I used the Sugar Bowl sketch rotated.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and taking a look Sue :O)

Baby Shower
Today Becci's friends held a Baby shower for her and it was my chance to get a little crafty.
I am so excited about becoming a Nanna for the first time in a few weeks time.
I have been wanting to have a go at one of these nappy cakes for ages and this was my chance.
I covered the nappies in muslin cloth because they had colours on them and it wasn't a good look with the pink ribbon, I think it looks better too.
The decorations around the edge are little socks to small to make proper roses but cute just the same.
I also took the chance to make some little favours, these have a couple of Thornton's choccis in them yum yum.
People that aren't crafting nerds don't quite get why you spend so much time making these thing!!!
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Just a quick post tonight... tomorrow I will have been married 37 years!!! I know I don't look old enough ha ha.
I made this card quickly this evening for my darling mad husband (drives me mad that is) but I wouldn't be without him.
I told you I was going to get good use out of this owl punch it is so versatile.

I am still here with cards to show!!!
I am still here and still making cards now and then, sad thing is I have forgotten to take pictures of most of them over the past couple of months but I did remember today.
I am just so busy with my job at the moment I don't have time to breath let alone be creative.
I have made a couple of cards for some up and coming Birthdays and I have a few more to make for August so I will try and remember to take photos.
I really want to get back into the creative mode soon as my first grandchild is due to make an appearance in the next 8 weeks and it is a little girl I can't wait to make all the pretty pink girly things.
So here they are my latest attempts!!
Isn't this just the cutest owl punch from stamping up I know he/she is going to become a firm favourite.
Thankyou for stopping by Sue :o)

March Birthdays
Hi hope you are all having a good Sunday mine is a crafty one!
I have lots of Birthdays in March so here are just 3 of the cards I have made over the past couple of days.
They have all been inspired by the fabulous Teneale Williams and if you haven't visited her blog yet I suggest you do she is a truly gifted lady and gives me loads on inspiration.
This one is for a girl(women I suppose but I still like to think of us as girls!!!) I work with nice and cheery and spring like.
This one is for my uncle who is soon to be 80 so this image is perfect.
The last one is for my best friend who lives away so I only see her a few times a year but she has been my friend for 35+ years so this sentiment is perfect.
The sun is shinning again today so I am off to help hubby tidy up the garden it is so nice to get outdoors and do some work.
Enjoy you Sunday and thanks for looking

More Less is More
Yesterday I joined in with the new challenge Less is More after looking at some of the other entries I realized that white space can in fact be any colour.
So I am going to share with you my favourite one that I made yesterday but I didn't post because I didn't think it would qualify.
Have a great Sunday...I am now going to prepare everthing for a big family roast dinner.

Less is more
There is a new challenge blog out there today called "less is more" how difficult is this!!
I love the style but it is so difficult to master, this is the one I settled on after 3 attempts but I still want to add more!
I am not sure I have the balance right.
The theme this week is Black White and Pink
Thanks for the challenge girls.

January Birhday's
I have lots of Family Birthdays in January it is a nightmare just after Christmas.
My niece will be 21 on Saturday and her mum my sister has a birthday on Monday.
We celebrated my niece's 18th Birthday (it is difficult to know which mile stone to go for!)
I couldn't let 21 go without a special card so here is what I made.
I got this idea from Julie
The little phone charm angel is one from a batch I bought from Marlene some time ago and I find it difficult to let them go!!
Here is the card I made for my sister I have used the cute little owl again that I used for my son's card below thanks again Peg for the idea.
Thanks for looking Sue :o)
