Passion For Promarkers Week 40
Wow where is the time going the last challenge at PFP for February the time is just flying past..Spring will soon be here!!!
This week we have a colour Challenge chosen by our guest DT member Tracey.
I am going to be very honest...when I saw the choice of Baby Pink and Tulip Yellow I just though HELP what am I going to do these are not colours I would normally put together but that is the great part of a challenge that's exactly what it is !!!
Oh and there was stitching too so Dameon the Demon sewing machine had to come out from the back of the cupboard.
I decided to use this gorgeous PB stamp called "Rain or Shine Friends" which I love but is rather large so when you use it it takes up the bulk of the card.
After all my worries I am pleased with this card I love the colour combo and even though the stitching is a little wonky its the best I have managed with the machine so far.
The flower is a combination of bits from my stash and the sentiment is SU.
So all and all I am quite pleased with this card and I will be keeping it for my friends Birthday in March.
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Saturday Secret Crafter & Sunday Sketch and Stamp
This Sunday Sketch and Stamp is a new challenge for me and I am loving the sketch for my first go at this one.
I dust this snowdrops stamp off every year at about this time as I always use it for my Mum's Mothering Sunday card she love snowdrops so it has become a bit of a tradition to make her a card with this image.
This is also for Saturday Secret Crafter which calls for a card for MUM.
It also fits in with Quixotic challenge which is also something for MUM
The papers are Nana's nursery from DCWV and I have used my MS heart punch for the border but I was I little disappointed as it didn't show up to well so I put some pearls in the middle of the hearts.
Coloured with promarkers and stickles on the snowdrops.
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

I ♥ ProMarkers Sketch Challenge
I have made this card using the I ♥ ProMarkers sketch Challenge.
It was an image I had already coloured when I was practising with my promarkers I just love to sit and colour the images sometimes I am happy with them sometimes not!!!
The theme is spring as well as the sketch so this little Tilda picking the petals off her flower seemed perfect.
The papers are BG and the flowers are from my stash
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Passion For Promarkers Buttons and Bows
Hi this week it is my turn to choose the theme for the PFP challenge and I have gone with a nice easy one "buttons and bows".
My card has been made with the two tutorials available over the past 2 weeks the first one was the heart shaped card and the second was to colour the images with promarkers in more subtle colours.
If you are interested you can find the tutorials on the PFP blog there is a link at the top of the page called "weekend workshop".
I am also going to enter this for the Simon Says Challenge "what's love got to do with it".
The papers are BG two scoops and my latest favourite thing "Kraft Card" the bow was made with the fabulous Bow-Easy available here.
Hope you like the challenge this week.
Thanks for looking Sue

Too Distressing Playing in the Sugarbowl
Hi I have made this card for the Sugarbowl Challenge which is a fab sketch by Tiets and a receipe of 3 flowers 2 brads and 1 button.
I am not happy with this card and I wasn't going to post it but I guess we must share the good and the bad!!!
When I see these multi layer sketches I always get the urge to try some distressing but then when I have tried it I always regret the decision!!!
I have used MME free papers again but this time I have distressed them and I also added some glimmer mist, I don't like the button on the blue flower and the colours in the image look to bright (Ok enough of the moaning).
Hope you are all having a great Valentines Day.
Thanks for looking. Sue :o)

Friday Sketchers
There is a fab sketch at Friday Sketchers this week and I already had this image coloured on my desk from some practising I had been doing with promarkers.
I have used kraft card again this time I made a blank and used it as my base the papers are Laura Ashley from last year with co-ordinating ribbons and brads.
The background paper and ribbon is glittered but doesn't show to well in the picture.
I am being very good at the moment and not buying any new craft papers or stamps so the Tilda is also an older one.
Hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for looking Sue :o)

Valenswine
Hi today I am showing you my Valentines Day card for Hubby, he has many obsessions but 2 of them are chocolate (a day never passes when he doesn't eat some)and pigs (apart from dogs his favourite animal).
This High Hopes sweet little pig eating all the chocolates is just the ticket and I have used the Papertake Weekly sketch this week.
It also fits in with the Die Cut Dreams Challenge have a Heart.
The papers are BG two scoops, I have invested in a Bow-Easy available here and it is fab it is just so easy to tie bows especially with slippery ribbons like satin and chiffon.
I would have loved to use some brown chiffon ribbon but sadly I didn't have any and the brown grossgrain was too solid a colour.
The flower has been made with my nestabilities blossom dies.
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Passion for Promarkers week 38 Colour Combo
This week at PFP we have a fabulous colour combo for you from our guest DT member Emma.
The colours are Aegean,Sky Blue and Cool Aqua these colours work really well together for shading and contrast.
I have used a GF stamp and my last sheet of Daisy Bucket Sweet Pea papers...I do so love these papers.
I have let Dameon the demon sewing machine out from the back of the cupboard, he came to me the Christmas before last and he has only been let out twice in all that time, it is crazy because I used to do lots of dressmaking years ago but I just find it quite different sewing on paper.
The little bows in the corners are made with SU ribbon and brads.
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Moving and Friday Sketchers
Firstly I want to say sorry for the rubbish photo...I have taken it with my daylight lamp this evening but I find it difficult to get the angle just right.
This card is for the Sir Stampalot challenge which has the theme of "moving" see side bar for details and also here for how to enter. The theme is open to interpretation and I am guessing that dandelion seeds move!!
The sketch is this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch.
The stamp is PB "Cheesecake Wish" and the papers are the free "My Minds Eye" pad which came with this months cardmaking magazine.
Thanks for looking. Sue :o)

Passion for Promarkers All Creatures Great and Small
This week at PFP we have a theme for you to play with "all creatures GREAT and SMALL"
Now my first thought was to use one of my cute PB mice or hedgehogs then I found this High Hopes Carpenter Ant and nothing can be much SMALLER than an ant but what fab little creatures they are such GREAT workers!!!
The papers are a mixture of BG and SU with a simple little layout and I have the perfect card for my brothers birthday this month.
Have fun with this weeks challenge and thanks for looking. Sue :o)
