Number one!!!
Between now and February I know personally of 8 babies due to be born 4 girls and 3 boys and a surprise (why do people need to know what gender it is before the baby is born?) it is such a lovely surprise.
Surprise arrived 2 weeks early on Monday weighing in at 7lb 4 oz and he is lush.
This is the card I made for baby Ethan's Mum and Dad.
Sorry about the terrible photo I had to take it before I went to work this morning (very bad light) so that I could get it in the post.
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

PFP Vintage
This week Maria has chosen vintage as the theme for this weeks PFP challenge.
This is out of my comfort zone but hay this is why they are called challenges.
I decided to use some Dovecraft paper from last year and a SU Santa stamped with "close to cocoa" ink... he has a real old fashioned feeling about him, just like Santa when I was a kid.
I have kept the colours to a minimum using Ivory and Blush and the colours are Burgundy Caramel and Duck Egg which has been toned down with Warm Grey 1.
The card is very simple with layers of card which has been inked with "close to cocoa" ink.
A strip of Burgundy ribbon and a couple of Christmas charms.
I was very worried about this challenge as vintage I just don't do but I am quite pleased with the result.
Thanks for Looking Sue :o)

PFP Week 26 Burnt Umber and Marsh Green
Here we are at week 26 at PFP and this week we have an unusual colour combination of Burnt Umber and Marsh Green chosen by our guest DT member Barbara
I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to join in his week....when I looked for the burnt umber colour I realized it was missing from my promarker pen collection... how could this be I thought I had them all!!
A quick order to Joanna Sheen and true to form the pen arrived on Saturday (such a good service she offers).
This card has been made for my hubby.... his birthday is in early Dec and he is golfing mad so when I saw this image I had to get it for him and the colours work perfectly.
I have used the Friday sketchers sketch and the papers are SU, the golf embellishments were bought from one of the cheap shops.
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Passion For Promarkers Week 25 Ida's Sketch
We have a fabulous sketch by Ida this week at PFP so you can all join in...there is no restriction on colour you can use whatever colours you like.
I love this sketch and have already used it a couple of times, my card is a new baby card.
I know lots of people expecting baby's over the next couple of months so I thought I would make a start on the cards....at least 2 of them are having girls.
The PB image was sent to me by a blogging buddy sorry can't remember who (it is sooooo cute!!!)the papers are SU.
Swirls are a quickkutz die and the charm, gems and flowers are from my stash.

Just another Christmas Card
Hi all sorry for the lack of posting at the moment but I can't sit down for any length of time at the moment due to a back problem.
I can use the computer stood up but I find it very difficult to sit down and colour images for any length of time.
Been for a lovely walk with Honey today at the Arboretum at Westonbirt we have become members so that we will go more regularly it is such a beautiful place and the dogs just adore the freedom.
I have used the lovely Henry mouse I have a couple more that I need to get out and use very soon.
He has been coloured with promarkers and polyochromo pencils...I do like the softer effect this gives.
Thanks for looking Sue :o)
