Passion for Promarkers Week 15 Glittery and Girly

This week we have a great challenge at PFP for all you gorgeous people who love anything that glitters,we are joined by 2 very talented ladies Sarah and Caroline who are guest DT members for the next 4 weeks.

I have used this gorgeous GF fairy that was sent to me by Natalie for my Birthday and the fabulous DCWV sweet stack papers.
There is plenty of glitter on this card just hope you can see it.

I have used magenta for her skirt, ivory and blush for the skin and pastel yellow, primrose and vanilla for the hair, the wings are coloured with satin and then covered with frosted lace stickles.
I have also used stickles on the white flower.
I look forward to seeing all your sparkly creations this week.

Thanks for looking Sue :o)

3hrs Later!!

Now I know some of you might look at this and think what a mess!!!
Well all I can say is look at the previous post about 3 hrs ago this is my sort of organized room...for 5 mins!!!

Thank you for looking Sue :o)

Explosion Box and room!!

I have been busy today making an explosion box for a girl at work for her MIL 40th wedding anniversary on the 13th Sept but she needs it for tomorrow.
Not much to say about it as I have made so many!!! See pictures below.

WHO WORKS IN A MESS LIKE THIS????

I DO!!!

Now for the EXPLOSION room, I am ashamed to say this is my craft room today at 12.30pm now I am hoping by owning up and showing you this awful mess it will shame me into tidying up.
Hopefully I will be back later on with a picture of a TIDY room...I can't work in this mess anymore!!!

Papertake Weekly Challenge

Gosh what a difference it makes with the nights getting cooler and darker...this is my third post in 3 days which is unheard of at the moment.

I hate the dark winter nights that are lumming on us very quickly at the moment but it does mean I get some crafting done instead of spending it in the garden.

This card is another one of the order I did for a girl at work.

The sketch is the papertake weekly challenge this week.
I have had this PB stamp for 2 years and I have never used it, I think I need a slapped wrist...my 10% pay cut has made me think more about using older unused stash.
The papers are some of the first I ever bought and I am not even sure what they are I think they are do craft!!
Image coloured with promarkers and flowers and charm from my stash, sentiment is crafwork cards.

I received this award from the lovely Natalie who has passed it onto all the PFP DT and I would like to do the same, they are just the best bunch of girls and are always there for you whatever happens long may our new friendships continue.

Friday Sketchers Baby Card

I was asked to make a couple of cards by a friend at work for a new baby.
I decided to use the Friday Sketchers Sketch for one of them and forgot to take a photo of the other one before I gave them to my friend.
The problem being it is getting darker earlier.. it is too dark when the cards are finished and I forget to do it in the morning before I go to work.

I have used a little forever friends stamp the papers are Blueberry Hill by papermania the white paper is glittery honest even though it is not showing up on the photo, flowers from my stash and sentiment done on computer.

Friday Sketchers and new shoes!!!

Here is a card I made for one of the lads I work with who's wife has just given birth to a baby girl called Bethany after many years of waiting.
I have loosely used the Friday Sketchers sketch although it is slightly different..

Had a bit of retail therapy today and I think I have lost my mind!!
I have just paid more for a pair of sandals in the sale than I would usually pay for a proper pair of winter shoes but oh they do make my heart sing they are so pink and girly...Paris here I come!

OMGosh how lucky am I ?

Yesterday was one of the weirdest days,in the morning I was preparing myself to go and get the results of a brain MRI scan that was taken last week and I don't mind telling you I was very worried.
It was all clear and such a relief for myself and my family.. I still have to have a few more tests but at least its nothing terrible (c look I can't even say the word!!)

I was walking on air when I returned to work and at lunch time I decided to log into my email account and guess what I had only won Marlene's Cha candy it is just so yummy... thanks Marlene and random generater!!!

Friday I am off to Paris for a hen weekend with my friend and her 2 daughters one of which will be the bride at the beginning of September and has given me an excuse to spend some money!!

So all in all yesterday was a wonderful day this week is a wonderful week and to be honest my life is pretty wonderful too and I am beginning to appreciate this a little bit more now.

Passion for Promarkers 12th Challenge

Here we are at week 11 for the PFP challenge.I can't believe that 11 weeks ago our challenge started and every week brings more and more fabulous cards from all you lovely people who come and join us.

This week the colours are Cocoa and Rose Pink chosen by Natalie...I thought this would be a nice easy one but I just couldn't decide which image to use, I coloured 3 or 4 before I decided to use this PB Bitty Bear Angel.

Her fur has been coloured with coca and then I went over the top with ivory which gives this slightly mottled effect.

Blogging Friend

Natalie from crafting fun and my fellow PFP DT member came to see me today with her lovely family.

They are on there way to Cornwall for a family holiday and stayed in Bristol yesterday so that the boys could have a break from the journey and go to the balloon Fiesta.
We spent a lovely couple of hours taking the boys to the park with Honey and playing in the new children's playground they have just build up the road. Natalie's eldest son Ben loves dogs and Honey had a great time sadly I forgot to take my camera.

Here is a lovely photo of them sat in my garden just before they headed off for their journey to Cornwall.
Have a great weekend the weather is gorgeous and we are hoping to see the red arrows later, they are at the fiesta this afternoon and will be taking off from Filton.
