Happy Birthday Becci

Today is the Birthday of my son's girlfriend Becci. I received a card earlier in the month made by the lovely Michelle with this high hopes stamp with a sweet little ant carrying his cake.Becci was really taken with the image and Tracey from Dies to Die For sent me a stamped image in my DT package.
I have cased the card that Michelle sent me but mine is made in Pink as Becci is a real pink girl.

Ruth's Drawing over at PFP

This weekend we have a fabulous free drawing for you to download done by the very talented Ruth at a passion for cards. I printed mine on SU white card on my HP printer and I am so thrilled with how easy it was to do. This is my first attempt with a digital download but it worked great and there was no smudging of the ink when I coloured her in with my promarkers.

Michelle has also done a great tutorial for you this weekend to help with the shading of this great drawing, this can also be found at the weekend workshop over at PFP

I coloured her in and then cut her out and mounted her on the circle which I have rubbed over with my SU close to cocoa ink stamp, the papers are BG Marrakesh
So pop over to PFP and get your free download and come and join us.

Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Passion for Pro-Markers 5th Challenge

Gosh can you believe we are already on week 5 of the PFP challenges, where does the time go it definitely goes quicker the older you get!!!
As you can see by the previous post I have been without Internet access for a few days and I have felt like a fish out of water!!! but today we are back online for now. I am changing my provider soon so there could be another break in service at anytime!!

The challenge this week at PFP is to use meadow green and lemon and they are not an obvious choice of colours for me to use, but I am happy with the results and will be using these colours again. There is rather a lot of grey in my image this week as well as the challenge colours but I just sooo love this Tilda that Helen kindly sent me and I just wanted to use her.

Hope you all have fun with the challenge this week and I apologise for not being able to comment on all you beautiful cards last week... hopefully Internet access willing I will be able to visit you all this week.

Thanks for looking

Well here we are already on PFP challenge number 3, thank you to everyone who took part in last weeks challenge there were some stunning cards.

This week the colours are Pumpkin and Cinnamon and I have to say not colours I would usually use together, although I do use the cinnamon quite a bit pumpkin is not a colour I have used that much.

I pulled out these SU papers which were perfect for the challenge and I have used a gorjuss girl sent to me by my friend Natalie who is also on the PFP DT.
The flowers and the gem brads are also SU.

I am pleased with the overall affect of this card and it is certainly colours I will use together again.

These colours also fits in with the Dusk to Dawn theme on the new Stampin for the weekend challenge.
