Friday Sketchers meets SCSC

Another Anya this time from the snow, rain, and shine set these are available from Tracy at Dies to Die For (although I think she is waiting for more stock at the moment) she does had lots of other lovely goodies.

I have used the Friday Sketchers sketch which was for a card made with the middle shape,I have used a square card and put the shape on top.
The papers are craft work card from last year, the colours are inspired by the SCSC challenge this week to use pink turquoise and a bit of brown.

Image coloured with pro markers and I have used some stickles on the fur bits..but I don't like it I need some of that white fluffy stuff but I am not sure what it's called!!!

Have a great Sunday and thanks for looking Sue :o)

Here is my card for the colour create challenge this week which is sky blue tan and ecru, mine is more thunderstorm blue than sky blue!! but hay most appropriate for the type of weather we are having at the moment!!! where is the spring? it will be summer soon I just hope it gets better.

Tilda with her corn has been paper pierced with the same paper which is a digital download, I have never used one before but I am really happy with the quality of the printing, I did it on a thicker quality paper and I came out really well.

Two Challenges and two posts in one day!!

I love this PB Bitty Angel Bear and decided to use her for the Sketch Saturday sketch, this card also fits in with the PB recipe challenge to use 3 flowers, 2 papers and 1 brad or charm.
The papers are last years Laura Ashley papers the white mulberry flowers are available from dies to die for and the roses are from the £1 store, I have attempted to colour with distress inks again but I am still struggling with these, and the good old Martha Stewart lace punch has come out again.

A little glimpse inside.

Sketch Saturday and Just Magnolia

I coloured this Tilda on Friday night I was determined to try and get the Just Magnolia challenge done this weekend sometime I missed last week (life is still a bit hectic!!!) I choose this Tilda because she has a heart stitched on her dress and the challenge is stitching. I am still not confident with my sewing machine so I have used some ribbon with stitching printed on it and I have done some faux stitching around the matt that she is mounted on.

I have used the Sketch Saturday Sketch the image is not quite the right shape but it has adapted quite well.

The papers are the Blue Hill collection from crate paper, they are so gorgeous they have a beautiful texture I hate to cut them up!!!

Here is the inside of the card.

MIA Again

What a weekend!!! just when I thought things were getting back to normal again after the sad death of my MIL in April... yesterday FIL had a heart attack and is in a specialist unit in the Bristol BRI hospital, the surgeon told us they see this a lot when a couple have been married for such a long time. He had a procedure performed on him yesterday where they but a stent in one of the arteries in his heart. I am so sorry for my lack of blogging and not leaving you all comments, guess May will just disappear now a bit like April did!!! Oh well onwards and upwards. Sue :o)
