Gorjuss girls in the sugar bowl

As soon as I saw this gorjuss girl I knew what I wanted to do with her, I have the most beautiful red coat in my wardrobe that I just can't bare to part with but I can no longer wear because it doesn't fit me (maybe this winter!!!) so I wanted to put her in the same red. So here she is in her beautiful red coat on a Christmas card which is exactly what the sugar bowl challenge is this week to make a Christmas card.

The paper is BG figgy pudding "wonderful" and I received a new MS Stewart punch yesterday called scalloped dot so I have threaded some ribbon through the holes and the sparkle is SU dazzling diamonds.

Basic Grey Challenge and new stash!!

A good post day today but still no WOJ stamps I am so jealous of all you girls that have received yours this week!! I have a busy weekend in front of me so no time to play until next week.
I did get this gorgeous PB older style stamp from Dickie in the states along with 4 others that are all being discontinued (was stung for £11.25 VAT and handling again!!) my retro flower punches also arrived so I decided to use them both for the basic grey challenge this week which is hearts.
Paper are the gorgeous bittersweet papers I do love them.
I have used a sketch from Saturday Sketchers from a couple of weeks ago.

I haven't been about much this week it has been a bit manic, we have friends staying this weekend. I am looking at all you blogs and drooling over all your beautiful WOJ creations just no time to stop and comment at the moment.

Sketch Saturday

I have decided I must try using up some of my older stash so I dusted off these sweet sugar nellie bunnies and my DCWV spring stack from last year.
I have used Sketch Saturday sketch, the brad in the middle of the flower is also DCWV, sentiment from SU, all other from my stash.
I have been experimenting with the effects on the pictures this afternoon, which do you prefer? or will I just stick with cropping and resizing!!!
Hope you are all having a wonderful Valentines day.

New Sketch and Stash Challenge

I have just found this new sketch and stash challenge which is in it's third week.

The brads are also BG matching the paper and the flowers are papermania this is my last 3 must get some more I love the rich colour and the spacers are from my stash.
Tilda jumper looks a bit pink in the photo but it is not quite so bright in real life!!
Hope you are all having a good Sunday

Basic Grey Challenge

I have used the great sketch on the BG challenge blog to make this card.
We are going to my BIL retirement and 65th Birthday party tomorrow...again I have put off making the card until the last minute I love the BG papers for men's cards these are from the boxer pad I think I will need to buy another one before they are discontinued. The image is from WOJ and the card is DCWV.

This card is for both occasions so the sentiment which is also WOJ seemed appropriate. The silver frame is from the SU hodgepodge hardware box I am loving this set.

We were sent home from work at 12 noon today because there were so few of us who had made it into the office so this was a great opportunity to make this card, I think it was just as well as this card has been a labour of love today why is it some cards are just like that!!

Thanks for looking

So here it is the image is SU and the papers are BG arhiac little pieces of ribbon are SU and the card stock is DCWV

Hi all where do the weekends go? it has been a very busy one and I haven't had any time for crafting.
I couldn't go to bed tonight without making at least one card so I have put this together very quickly for the circle card challenge on the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

I have used my nestabilities so this is a small card, but so is the image which is very quick to colour.

This is to show you it will stand up!!!

I did this quickly on Thursday night these little note books are very cheap at Tesco 99p for two one pink one blue I haven't had to add any paper this is the cover.
So sorry about the rubbish photo.

I have received these two lovely awards from the lovely Bev, I will pass them on tomorrow.

Hope you don't have to much snow where you are tomorrow morning just enough to keep you at home crafting, will be over to see you all tomorrow, good night and God bless.
