Happy Birthday Jon
It is my nephew Jonathan's 16th Birthday today so I made a card very quickly this morning with one of the stamp set that I bought yesterday.
It is very simple but just the job for a 16yr old!!
They are called Clearly stamps with character by Hunkydory Crafts Ltd.
I bought one of the sports sets called sporting blunders and my friend Sian bought a Christmas set called tipsy adult which is just so funny.
Happy Birthday to Vicki at paperlisious oasis hope you are having a great day.
I am trying to tidy up my craft room and get things a bit more organized!!! ha ha
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Shop till you drop!!! and fab friends
I have had the best day today
I picked my friend Sian up at 8.30 this morning and I drove us down to Exeter in Devon for the WestPoint Craft Fair, we arrived a 9.45 and it was let the shopping commence!!
I also met up with Annie from Ink 'n' Rubber it was so nice to meet a blogging friend in the flesh and we stopped for 30 mins at 12.00 for a cup of coffee and a chat, it was so nice to meet you Annie and thank you so much for the Sarah Kaye images.
Now are you ready here is what I bought I didn't seem like that much until I took it all out of the bags when I got home.
I went looking mainly for embellishments and boy did I find plenty!!
But hay it would have been rude to stop there so I also bought a couple of boxes to keep them in and one of those Xyron sticky thingame things to put the ribbons on with oh and a couple of spellbinder dies and a cuttlebug folder and some other bits and pieces that didn't make it into the picture as they were still hiding in the bags!!
I promised myself no stamps but I am afraid I didn't keep it, I am not overly sure about the F Friends stamps but there were two I just couldn't resist and some papers and card, oh dear this was me being careful!!!
We came out of the Fair at 16.30 tired but very happy and I drove us home. My darling hubby had supplied tea so I sat down to a nice hot meal just in time to watch Strictly Come Dancing what better day could a girl have!!!
There was also a beautiful card folder stuffed full of images waiting for me from the lovely GINA
And lastly but by know means least Annie gave me this great folder stuffed with Sarah Kaye images when I met her today such a kind person.
I am such a lucky girl ( well woman really) but all these goodies make me feel like a child again!!
Well done if you have made it to the end of this post and thanks for looking. Sue :o)

Friday Sketchers meets Spoon Full of Sugar
I made this card last night with one of the images I coloured while we were away on holiday. I used the Friday Sketchers sketch and then when I looked at the spoon full of sugar challenge blog today it was to use charms which I had already done on this card.
I bought this sweet little Sugar Nellie last year and I have hardly used her, there are so many lovely new stamps coming out all the time you are inclined to forget some of the older ones!!
The blues don't look very good in the photo but they do look better in real life!!!
As I am so behind with the challenges I decided to combine the two.
Thanks for looking

We are off to Cornwall today with the Honey Monster,I can't wait to see how she reacts to the sea and sand.
Hope you all have a good week and I look forward to seeing all your creations when I get back next Saturday.

More Whiff of Joy
Two more whiff of joy cards the first one is Charlie and his dog I was trying to stay away from traditional Christmas card colours. The papers are DCWV and the card is Bazzil.
I am quite happy with the layout of this card but not so happy with the colouring of the image the colours on the dog aren't right will have another go today.
The second one is Charlotte carol singing again not traditional colours I am not sure where this colour combo has come from but I do quite like it! The papers are SU and the layout is very simple but I do like the simplicity of it.
The light here is so bad at the moment day and night as it has been just the most miserable August and September so far. I invested in a daylight lamp yesterday. It was quite a bit of money but I do think I will get good use out of it, just need a way of taking some decent photos now!!!
Thanks for looking Sue :o)

Sketch Saturday and Sarah Kay Sunday
Better late than never I have used the Sketch Saturday sketch and the colour combo purple and green for Sara Kay Challenge.
The gorgeous image is courtesy of Lynn Craft & Waffle, papers DCWV and flowers ribbon and brads from stash.
Thanks for looking Sue :o)
My First Whiff of Joy
This is my first Whiff of joy card. I received 4 stamps in 2 days and didn't know which one to use first.. and I have 4 of the new ones coming any day now... I need some serious time to play!!
I made this card last night and must admit I was a bit tired so unfortunately the paper is not quite square onto the card and I have a little bit of white showing down the left hand side. Also the snowflake brad in in a funny place but I managed to get some black ink in the wrong place and I didn't want to waste the card.
I have just done a personality profile at work and I have come out as a perfectionist (it's a bit scary how accurate it is) just wish I was this fussy about housework!!!.

Wedding Day
My son's girlfriend asked me to make a card for one of her clients, I don't know anything about the couple getting married so I decided to go cute.
This lovely image is thanks to Michelle who is always willing to help and kindly sent me images stamped with different types of ink so I could use them with my pro markers. Thank you so much Michelle you are such a kind thoughtful person.
I have used a piece of velum on the front fixed on by pearl brads the sentiment is cuddly buddly and the little hearts tied to the ribbon are some I found at hobby craft at the weekend when looking for some bead spacers to use with my brads as they look so cool!! I did find some but it is an expensive way to buy them EBay is the way to go for these little darlings !!!
Thanks for looking Sue :o)
