Cute Card Thursday

CHALLENGE 16 NO PATTERNED PAPERS

At first glance I thought I don't think I can do this challenge but I had a go and here is what I came up with... I am quite pleased with the simplicity of this card!!
Sometimes less is more!!
The cake cases have been highlighted with a silver gelly roll pen but doesn't show up very well on the photo.

A spoonfull of sugar blog "checks galore"

The challenge this week on a spoonfull of sugar blog is checks galore the lovely Debbie at crafting Fairy kindly sent me lots of H&S images this week.... you can now use these images as they will soon be available here in the UK "yippee" it would have been rude not to have a go!!!.
We took honey out this morning to a local garden centre where we sat outside and had a cup of coffee she was so tired from all the excitement she went to sleep for a couple of hours this afternoon so it gave me chance to have a play.
Can't remember where the papers are from it was a piece in my scraps box just asking to be used!!!




She has lots of nice new toys and what does she like to play with most the old sweeping brush bless!!!

SBS9 SECRET SISTER JUNE

Look what I received this week my second secret sister package I still do not know who it is from but I do know it is one of my sisters from across the pond and look at all the lovely goodies can't wait to play.

OK I am still here!!!

Gosh what a hectic week I've had forgotten just how much like having a new baby it is!!!!
Honey the new puppy is so good and has settled in really well but I just haven't had any time to make cards.
It is my turn to run the colour challenge on my SBS9 group this month and I have chosen BROWN & PINK I will be opening this to everyone so I will be coming back later with some blog candy and a sample for this challenge but this will give you a head start!!!! Usual thing anything as long as it is BROWN and PINK leave me a comment and a link to to my blog from yours.

Today is the longest day and it feels more like winter again!!!!

Meet Honey the Sprocker Spaniel

Sorry I haven't uploaded my Birthday cards today but here is the reason why.
Today we collected Honey the Sprocker Spaniel no I haven't misspelled it she is a springer/cocker cross.
Mum is a black and white springer spaniel and dad is a golden cocker spaniel and she is just the cutest thing you ever did see... be prepared for plenty of proud mum photos!!!!

So overwhelmed I could cry!!!

Hi I am back from a wonderful relaxing holiday in Cornwall we had the most glorious weather and the cottage was gorgeous.
My birthday last Monday was one of the best for a while (we have a very sad anniversary that falls on the same day and it can sometimes taint it a little bit).
My son and his girlfriend came with us and they paid for me to go to a very posh Spa for a day I had an aromatherapy facial and full body massage and a very nice lunch overlooking Fistral Beach on the Tuesday... Becci and I went together and Neil and his dad had a boys day playing pitch and put and surfing it was wonderful.
And today I have come home to a postbox overflowing with he most gorgeous cards you girls really are the best and so talented it feels like my birthday all over again. I will take pictures and get them loaded in the next day or so.
I hope to catch up with all your blogs over the next couple of days and get back to normal and make some cards but back to reality for now and the washing and ironing!!!

I am off on my holiday this afternoon down to Cornwall haven't been there for about 15yrs so I am so looking forward to going again with DH DS and his girlfriend to all the places we used to go when he was young!!!

I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who have been sending me cards over this past week.
I haven't opened them yet I am taking them away to open on Monday... I will not have access to the Internet while I am away so I will have to share them next week.

Father's Day Riley Moose

I realized today it is father's day the day after I get back from my holiday next week so I made this card quickly tonight.
I wanted to use another Riley Moose this time he is gardening I have kept this card very simple as I don't think my dad would appreciate anything too fussy.
Paper are DCWV from a bargain stack I bought last year from QVC.

New Baby

My friend had her baby on Sunday weighing in at a healthy 8lb12oz a little girl called Gemma.
She already has one little girl who will be 2 on Monday so she is going to be very busy for sometime to come!!
I am sure it will be Lovely in a few years time when they are two close sisters.

I made a couple of cards that I posted a few days ago and of course she will be getting the pink one!!
I have made this one for Ellie so she won't feel left out.

Annie very kindly sent me this image some time ago and I have just been waiting to use it.
