New Tilda and Debbie's Blog Candy

I just needed to use my new Tilda she is just so cute!!! and Debbie has some great blog Candy up for grabs here.
The challenge is to make a girlie Birthday Card with ribbon!!
I have used ribbon on this card but it isn't obvious at first glance... the happy birthday strip along the dotty paper is pink ribbon which has been covered in sticky happy birthday white ribbon!!! Does that make sense!!
I used twinkling H2o's on her wings this time and the papers are CC cupcakes.

CCT one for the girls/ Burns Unit

Let me explain the title for this..it is my card for CCT girls just wanna have fun but it is also going to a burns unit in the USA.
I spent the day spring cleaning my conservatory yesterday lets just say I like things to be clean but I don't like cleaning!!
So last night at 9.30pm when I finally sat down to do a bit of blog hopping I wasn't best pleased.. I always try and visit my sisters from the SBS9 on a weekend so that was where I started and one of the first blogs I looked at was Debbie and she had a link to her daughters blog as she has decided to share her story of a terrible accident that she had two years ago, you can read Sara's story here.
She is challenging you to make a card to send to the burns unit where she was treated to brighten someone day...so this is where this card is going and hopefully it will do just that!!!
The stamp is a HH and the papers are DCWV Nana's kids and they are all sparkly

I have used this gorgeous image that I received from Isabel some time ago I think it is a High Hopes the papers are PM antique cream and I have used my nesabilities for layering and ribbons from my stash.

CCT Men & Boys/SBS9 Green & Brown Challenge

The challenge this week on CCT is men and boys. I bought this stamp along with 2 others from the range some time ago and I have never used them , then I was blog hopping the other day and noticed several girls from across the water were using them so I thought I ought to EZ mount them and ink them up!!!They are from Hanna Stamps and he is called Riley Moose.
The papers are from Dovecraft.
My sister Suzann from SBS9 also has a brown and green challenge going on in our group so I decided to use him for both.
Thankfully I don't know anyone who needs a get well card at the moment so I will put him in my stash.
Did manage to get a sparkly pink cherry on top of his cake but it's only a very little one!!!

Another Image Folder

Another folder this time with a HH stamp called garden angel.
This is my first attempt at water colouring with my new Lyra water colour crayons... more practice need!!
Now I just need to stamp the images to go in them and get them sent!!

Explosion Boxes

A friend at work has asked me to make 3 boxes for her two wedding and one 30th birthday, my mum also wants one for my Aunty's 50th wedding anniversary.
Thought I had better make a start today!!
I had forgotten how long they take to make this one has taken me 4 hours because it is so long since I made one

I bought this Tilda specifically for paper piercing as she suits it so well.
I have used K&Co double sided paper to make this image folder and nestabilities to mount her.

First 12x12 Scrapbooking Page

As I told you in my post below I went to a scrapbooking party yesterday evening,it is a company called craft ed the lady running it also called Sue... it was her first one so we were her guinea pigs.There were only 5 of us there you take along a photo and you all do the same basic layout then you add your own photo and personalise it. The theme was family and as this is the only photo that I have with my mum dad sister and me in I decide to do this one even though its not a terribly good photo.
It was a fun evening and we all enjoyed it, Sue did really well as I think she was a little nervous and of course I spent some money!!!

Nothing to show

I have had a couple of busy nights this week my niece's 40th Birthday meal on Tuesday evening and tonight I have been to a friends house for a scrap-booking party. You get to make a page with a photo you take along and then you can buy goodies mostly DCWV an K & Co but also some other bits and pieces I will show you the page I made tomorrow when I can get a decent photo. I am almost embarrassed to say some more delisious candy came in the post today. It was from the lovely Vicki at paperlicious oasis. This was a runners up prize can you imagine what the winner got!! Its all pink and all delicious and I have my first ever copic marker which I can't wait to try as I see so many of you using them. The beautiful image folder was stuffed with images and I now have a couple of Tilda Goblins to try. Thank You so much Vicki :o)

SBS9 April Sketch Challenge

This month the sketch has been done by Lulu.
I have used my little PB marching mouse and the papers are from DCWV spring stack again.I think because the sun is shinning it makes me want to use these pretty spring colours, also used the cuttlebug paisley embossing folder on bazzil card.

Great Post Day

I had a great post day today when I got home firstly there was some great candy and a card that I won from Tracey from SBS9 who had a draw to celebrate her significant birthday. Thanks Tracey I look forward to playing with all these lovely goodies.


Then there was this great image folder stuffed full of Whipper Snapper Images, thanks Jo most appreciated.


And last of all but you have to keep this one secret from hubby some more Tilda's from sirstampalot!!!

Ila's Sketch Challenge

Ila has a sketch challenge over on her blog Artfully Ila I love here work as her colouring is awesome and she always uses lots of layers and elements on her cards but this is not my natural style so I struggle a little bit with these types of sketches!! I had a couple of spare hours last night as the Masters Golf was on the TV yet again so I decided to have a go and this is what I came up with. I think I have managed to get everything in!!
Stamp is HH and the papers are from DCWV Spring Stack the flower is from flower doodle and the ribbon is from stash.

Tilda Challenge Stitch me up

I just wanted to use this stamp and I made this card tonight just because!!! then I realised it fits the challenge on the Tilda challenge last week... a bit late I know but better late than never!!!
There are so many gorgeous Tilda's at the moment it is difficult to stop buying them!!
I bought these papers at craft central today they are PM Antique Cream collection I bought them because I don't have many brown or cream papers and there are some really nice ones in this stack.
I am quite pleased with this card I think I might make another in different colours!!!

Annie's Blog Candy

I have made this card for Annie's birthday blog candy challenge to make a girly card with flowers.
Every card I see with this Tilda I just love but I don't own her Gina kindly sent me this image, but yesterday Sir Stampalot had a big list of new Tilda's available and this was one of them so hopefully she will be landing on my mat very soon with a few friends!!!
The paper is my last piece of this DCWV DP which I just loved because of the colours.

The Best Day!!

I have had the best day today...I have been crafting for most of the day and I have so enjoyed it!! I could get used to this but I guess it wouldn't be such a pleasure if I could do it all the time!!!!
This card has been made for a young couple who have recently been renovating an old house and moved in last week now I can here you thinking this isn't a new home card!!! ahh well you see they have just come back from a short holiday in Tokyo and while they were there he proposed to her so I have made this card hoping to kill two birds and all that ( I must say i don't like that saying) Gosh I am waffling today!!
It has been inspired by Michelle from the card grotto check out her blog the cards are amazing... my thinking is she is also a young person so I am hoping it will appeal to my young friends!!

I have used high hopes dunno duck and CWC cupcake papers the sentiment is an Anita's stamp I picked up cheap somewhere and the ribbon and flowers are from my stash.

Thank you so much to the very kind and generous Gina from our SBS9 for the lovely blog candy that arrived today.
Her dear partner Dave choose my entry for Gina's sketch challenge that we run on the SBS9, I entered two and a felt sure it was going to be the manly one but no it was the very girly Easter one that he liked!!! who says men don't have a feminine side!!!
I have a set of the wonderful Laura Ashley contemporary papers that Gina was most upset to find I had been out and bought last weekend but I must say I love them so much I don't think I will have any trouble using a second pack, there was also a very nice memory book brads and flowers some great stamped images and a little set of studio G new baby stamps which I forgot to put the the photo, and of course not forgetting the gorgeous image folder with the cutest little PB duck.

Good Morning

This is a little image folder which is winging its way to Jo today after she was let down by paypal!!!
The ribbon isn't quite in the correct place and you can't tie it.. this is what comes of making things when you are tired!!
The holes for the ribbon weren't in line so I had to cover them up best I could, but I think she will be more happy with whats inside!!
I have a couple of days holiday from work and was hoping to do the garden but sadly it is not gardening weather here at the moment. Hopefully it might clear up later. Hope you all have a good day
