Honestly!

For inking up my Thomas Kinkades and big backgrounder stamps, I use a rubber brayer and my distress inks...roll the brayer on the inkpad and then onto the rubber. I then lie my CS onto the stamp which is lying ink up on the table...if you have two brayers you can also roll over the paper slowly and carefully not to move it. Then remove the paper and trim the image. With only one brayer, be sure you are stamping on a very hard surface (counter top) and put your inked block onto the paper and press hard on the entire block...standing up works best for me! It takes practice, but does get easier! Try it! :)

Your coloring here looks great...wouldn't purple flocking on the flowers be amazing??
Kim MarieKim Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11821594634561242039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8482194058997269652.post-43614486643790849632008-05-31T08:35:00.000+01:002008-05-31T08:35:00.000+01:00I love this card Sue, I think the colouring is gre...I love this card Sue, I think the colouring is great. I color most with my Copics, but have had luck with Prima color pencils and gamesol too. I have a tough time with the large stamps... and how to use them on the cards... there just ain't room for anything else but the image. I wonder if using Marvy le plume pens and actually colouring the stamp before stamping would work???!!! I'm thinking using the technique that Art Impressions do with their water colour stamps - you know when after stamping you drag the colour from the stamped edges with a damp brush. I'm probably completely wrong but it was just a thought that might be worth giving a try.

Ann xxxAnniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16065517937575895349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8482194058997269652.post-60988946731179906442008-05-29T21:44:00.000+01:002008-05-29T21:44:00.000+01:00WOW - georgeous card and beautifully coloured.
